We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Scott's Football 2017

Last time Steph and I scrapped together, I realized that my scrapbooking paper stash is starting to look a lot like my closet - nothing but shades of blue and grey!  Oh well, stick with what you like, right?
This navy blue paper created the base for Scott's 2017 football page after I'd added a border of washi tape.  The embellishments and title were generously donated to my project from Steph's stash.  :)  They are from The Paper Studio and Creative Imaginations.

Explore MN

Another spread created from the travel kit by The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby.  I used giant craft paper alpha stickers for the title and added the details to them with a Sharpie.  I see now looking at the scans that I forgot to outline the inside of the "O"!  I will have to fix that before the page goes in the album.

Wedding Road Trip

Another page that came together easily thanks to a kit.  I used the travel kit by The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby to make this spread about a road trip we took to attend a friends wedding last fall.  The only thing not from the kit was the title letters which are by DCWV.

First Day of Kindergarten

The bright, bold papers from the Crate Paper Cool Kid collection were just right for Alarik's first day of Kindergarten photos.  I ripped and layered several different prints, adding arrow, ruler and alphabet embellishments.  I created my title with two different giant number/alpha stickers and finished the page off with a strip of journaling on notebook print paper.

Football 2017

I used a football page kit by The Paper Studio that I picked up at Hobby Lobby to create these similar layouts for my boys for last football season.  I used my circle punch on these pages on a few pictures that I was able to fit in the punch.  I lined those pictures up on a strip of washi tape.  Page kits just help pages come together so fast!

Peaches

We acquired a pig from an old college friend.  Alarik took quite a shine to the cute little thing.  So much so that he wanted his school picture taken with her!  Hahaha! I had to indulge him, if only to have the photos for this scrapbook page.  I nabbed a super-cute Bella Blvd Barnyard kit from scrapsteals.com that was just right.  I mean, how could I resist those adorable pigs?

Ready to Roll

This page commemorates my 16 year old getting his driver's license and first car last fall.  I love the look of pages with just one or 2 photos but I rarely get to make them because I always have way more pictures.  I had more for this page but decided to just pick one.  I triple matted the photo, tearing the blue layer to add texture.  I created the pennant banner with a punch and some black cord.  The title letters are from DCWV. The background paper and the "16" are from the Recollections Primary 123 stack.

Volleyball 2017

Thanks to one C-squad game being held in the big gym (aka, in better lighting), I got a few decent shots of Bekah's volleyball season. I put them together on a fun themed background page from an Echo Park Volleyball mini kit.

I went to put my scrapbooking supplies away after a day of scrapping with Steph, and ran across this team and individual photo that I'd tucked away, intending to use it on this page. Doh!

Never fear...I simply mounted it on another of the background pages from the kit and, voila, I a two-page spread!

Applefest 2017

My hubby and I got to go to Applefest alone last year- a first for us.  2 kids had work/plans and the youngest told us: "I think I will let you go yourselves and have a romantic time". HaHa!  I don't know about romance but we sure did have a fun day!  In our last scrapping session I went a little crazy with my circle punch!  I started with background paper from the WJB Collection Stack by The Paper Studio that I got at Hobby Lobby.  I used grey paper to mat the photos, using a big circle punch on the ones that would work for that.  I punched the circles for the title with a smaller circle punch and then used punch out letters by DCWV to spell out the title.  I also used a tiny leaf punch and added some punches to the grey paper to let my background paper come through and add detail.

Bekah First Day of 7th Grade

Bekah jumps up to high school in 2017 - can't believe it!  I had this fun calendar page background paper from the Simple Stories Life Documented kit.  I matted my one photo on some colorful striped paper from the same kit.  I added the events of the first month of school to the calendar on the actual days they happened - volleyball games, piano and violin lessons, confirmation class, etc. That was a fun way to document what she's involved in this year.  I added some additional journaling at the bottom and finished the page off with some arrow stamps and bright washi tape strips.

Fall Fest 2017

I love the pumpkin background paper by The Paper Studio that I found at Hobby Lobby!  It is called "Doodle Pumpkins". I also used some scraps of burlap print paper and tore the edges for some contrast.  I used some bigger sized black alpha stickers from Hobby Lobby for my title.

Homecoming 2017

My middle child's first Homecoming!  This was a pretty simple layout so I wanted to use the giant letters for my title for some impact.  The letters are from Hobby Lobby.  I also added some detail with my star punch, layering some of them to add dimension.
