We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Apple Fest 2016

Besides the plaid and stripe paper, I also can't get enough of oversize title letters lately!  These letters are from Hobby Lobby and are The Paper Studio brand.  I added details to the letters with a Sharpie (I have been using that technique a lot lately too!)

Other supplies:
background paper- The Paper Studio, Pine St Square stack (A Christmas stack, always remember to check those for papers you can use on non-Christmas pages!)
burlap paper- Paper Pizazz

Merry and Bright - Scott

Steph ended up with a very rare and random day off one Monday and so I took it off as well and we scrapped.  Neither of us could even remember the last time we got together to scrap!  Obviously it had been too long.

I made several pages using the Simple Stories Classic Christmas kit.  I always struggle to use two-sided papers well.  I had this idea pinned to my "Scrappy Ideas" board so I used it for this page since I only had one photo for it.  I used an x-acto knife to cut an "x" in the page centered over where I wanted my photo and slightly smaller than the size of it.  I made two more cuts from center to the outer edge, then folded each flap back and secured it with a brad.  I mounted my photo behind the newly-created opening, then finished off the page with just a few stickers and some short journaling on a kraft paper strip.
