We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Third Time's a Charm

Scrapbooking a separate album for each of my three children has its challenges. One of the benefits though is that when I'm doing a page that I want in each of their albums, I get three chances to do it right.  Take these for example:

This is the first one I made and it had everything going right for it until I added those darn photo corners to the picture. I hate the way the top left one looks on Jesse's head. I tried removing it but it was super-stuck down so that wasn't happening.
Take #2: It's ok but I dislike how my hand-written title looks and I wish I put my round embellishments on the blue patterned paper instead of so close to the circle-patterned paper. I think they would have had more impact as they kind of get lost with all the other circles so close to them.
Last but not at all least because it's my favorite version of the page, this one:
This is the first page I have made that is not all about the kids. I was inspired by some past episodes of The Paperclipping Roundtable where they talked about journaling about yourself and another where they talked about using lists and surveys as journaling. I came up with this idea and thought it would be fun to do it again every once in awhile and slip it into each kids' album. Hopefully they will enjoy this little glimpse of what Jesse and I were like at this particular moment in time.

Supplies Used:
Papers, puffy stickers and wood buttons from AC Shimelle Go collection
Bella Blvd enamel DooDads
Thickers and Recollections alpha stickers
