We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Christmas 2014 - Scott

I used the same papers and color scheme for Scott's Christmas page as I did for Alarik's.  I had no idea that everything from Christmas Eve service outfits, to PJs, to Christmas morning clothes were so color-coordinated this year!  I should claim that I did that on purpose, but it's purely coincidence.

Caden's 11th Birthday

Pennants, banners and stars- you really can't go wrong with those in my book:)   I used several different star punches to make the embellishments for this page.  I also added some birthday stamps and a token from the arcade place that we went to.

Christmas 2014 - Bekah

This layout was inspired by Pinterest.  During a long scrapbooking day or weekend, it's easy to run out of steam and I often turn to my "Scrappy Ideas" Pinterest board when I start to feel like all my pages are looking the same.

You know I love pennants and stars, so why not combine them???  This layout is a great way to use up some patterned papers that I probably wouldn't have used otherwise.  The papers are all from a DCWV Christmas stack.  I matted the photos on black so they wouldn't get lost on the busy patterns.  I see now that I didn't bother with a title or date.  My kids' albums are in chronological order so date isn't all that important and I guess I figured the photos are self-explanatory, even without a title.

Gavin's Track 2015

This page will forever make me angry!  I left his track portrait and team picture in it's envelope on my desk and it faded in the sun and got all streaky:(  If I would have only turned the envelope over so the little window was facing down.  Oh well, no way to get a new one so I just scrapped it anyway.
It is rare for me but I used plain white paper as a background for this spread and added "torn pennants" in school colors and a track print paper.

Christmas 2014 - Alarik

Well, I am way behind Steph in getting pages from our last scrap day posted.  And I'm sorry to say that I misplaced my notes on what materials I used on each page so this next series of posts from me is going to be pretty lacking as far as that goes.  Though, we all know I'm a sucker for 12x12 stacks by DCWV so you can be pretty safe in betting that the majority of the papers I used are from one of those.

I chose my color scheme for Alarik's 2014 Christmas page based on the kids' outfits in the photos.  I used up some coordinating scraps as accent pennants and finished up with an alpha sticker title.

Caden's D.A.R.E. Trip

How lucky my sister had this Twins colored striped paper for me to steal!  Actually I stole a lot of stuff from her on our last scrapping weekend:)  One of the joys of scrapping together....sharing supplies!

Background paper- DCWV Stack 8
Punch out letters- DCWV- I cannnot begin to count how many pages I have used these letters on! They were a super buy!

I always like to put a ticket on sporting event pages, then you don't have to worry about getting the date/time/seat location on your page.  All the info is on the ticket.

Paint Job

Here is a page of some before and after pictures from when I painted inside our house last fall.  I love scrapping things like this too so you can look back and see how things have changed.

This title was also pieced together from leftover letters that I had.  I believe the chipboard letters are by Provo Craft.

Lake Superior Circle Tour 2014

Family vacation pages always intimidate me and I had been putting this one off for awhile.  There are usually just so many pictures that I am overwhelmed.  I always create a Snapfish or Sutterfly (can't remember which I use) book from each of our trips so on the scrapbook page I just try to get the highlights and the best pictures.  I created the title for this page using a tag punch and a silver pen.

North Shore Memorial Weekend 2015

Our first year taking our puppies camping!  I was glad to have something a little different to put on a camping page- seems like it is always the same pictures, the kids just keep getting bigger.  But I guess that is what scrapbooking is all about:)

The title letters were some of those 12X12 cut out from the sheet type and I have had them so long that I have no idea where they came from or what brand they are.

License To Drive

It appears the "V" shifted when my sister scanned this- good help is so very hard to find;) But you get the idea.

Background Paper- Driver's Training: License to Drive from scrapyourtrip.com
Title Letters- This was pieced together from several sets of letters that I could't really spell anything with.  Don't you just hate when it gets to that point?  Mixing and matching letters is a good way to use up at least some of the letters in the sets.
