We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

2 Years

Most of these supplies are straight out of my scrap bin except for the title letters which are Art Expressions poster letters that I've talked about before here.

Good Looks

Steph ran across some pictures of our nephew Josh and marveled at how much Alarik looks like him.  I created this page with papers and chipboard embellishments from My Mind's Eye's Kraft Fun Day collection.  The title is made from Woodsies brand alpha cutouts found at Michael's.

Road Trippin'

I did a page like this for each of my kids from our road trip a couple summers ago.  I didn't have any road tripping embellishments to add to these pages so I added interest by using photos of different shapes and sizes, matting some of the pictures in sections and using an interesting corner punch on some of the photos. For each page I just used black background paper and then one other color of card stock.  The title letters are from DCWV and I used a lighter and darker color to coordinate with the card stock color, layering and alternating them.

I'm Gonna Miss This?!?

I don't scrap these everyday life moments often enough, but I was inspired by the messes my kids make to do this page.

Materials Used:
background paper by Colorbok
title letters by DCWV
?!? stickers are from the $ Tree

I matted my title letters on white paper to make them stand out more and made a little pennant to caption each picture and attached them with little brads.

Gavin's Basketball 2013

Materials used:
basketball print paper by Recollections
basketball stickers by Reminisce

Banners or pennants or whatever you choose to call them are very popular these days and super fun to add to a page!  I may have went a little crazy with them on this spread running them one way on the left side and the other way on the right side but I think it turned out just fine.

BEAR

Steph and I wrapped up the church scrapbook project on Saturday and I was itching to get at my own stack of prints afterwards.  So yesterday I did what I never do...I scrapped alone!!!  I know, it's sad and scary and kind of feels wrong.  But my results turned out pretty good.

All papers and letters are from the D.C.W.V. The Green Stack.  This is a premium, textured paper stack and when they say "textured", they really mean it.  I found it hard to work with but I got out the mega glue stick instead of my usual adhesive runners and that worked much better.
