We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Winter 2012

For this one page layout I used a swirly background paper from a DCWV Christmas stack.  I ran a strip of cute snowman print paper called "Button Nose" by Jovial across the middle of the page and placed my two pictures on it.  The title letters are by Forever in Time and the snowman chipboard sticker is also from the "Button Nose" collection by Jovial.  I used some of the white space on the snowman chipboard to hand write the month and year.

Alarik's First Birthday

I went with plain white background on this two-page spread so that I could incorporate lots of COLOR in my accent papers and photo mats.  I used striped and polka dot paper from an autumn paper pack found in the Target Dollar Spot.  The metal title letters are from Oriental Trading Company, held on with white brads also ordered from OTC.  I matted all my photos on a combination of yellow, green and blue papers.  I finished off my journaling block with a birthday candle shaped brad.

Preschool Graduation

Scott's preschool page is simple, primary colored cardstock and Recollections letter stickers.  The star overlay is Fancy Pants Designs' Glitter Cuts #340-Row of Stars.  The school boy sticker is from the same Me & My Big Ideas sheet that I used for Bekah's first grade page.

Bekah Storlie, First Grader

Elementary school and primary colors go together like peanut butter and jelly.  Which, coincidentally, goes with elementary school too!  How do you like that?

I've got my primary colors covered on this two-page spread about Bekah's last day of first grade.  The letter stickers that form the title are from a Fall Sticker Stack by D.C.W.V.  The school-themed stickers are by Me & My Big Ideas.  The swirl print paper is from the Kris Kringle pack by S.E.I.

Memorial Weekend 2011

The background paper and paper that I matted the photos on are "Campfire" from October Afternoon.  The stickers that I used were also from that same collection.  On the left hand page I used some cutouts by Creative Imaginations.  I used two of the cutouts for my journaling areas.  The camping title was made from a 12x12 sheet of cut out letters but sorry I have no recall of the brand or where I got these from!

Scrub a Dub Dub

Baby-in-the-tub photos are universally appealing and lend themselves to a great color scheme.  This background paper is Green & Blue Plain by Recollections (where DO they come up with those clever names anyway?)  :)

I matted photos on a coordinating light blue cardstock and added some buttons to the mats.  I stamped my title with fun alpha rubber stamps by Stampin' Up.

Sleeping Scott

I had so many pictures for this page and they had so many colors going on in them that I didn't need much for background and embellishments.  I chose a plain green cardstock for the background and matted each photo on black.  I had some black and silver stars by Colorbok that added a little interest to the already very full page.  I journaled in an empty space of the background and now I just need a title!  Steph was thinking some quote from The Sleep Book by Dr. Seuss.  Any other great suggestions?

Easter Pages

Easter is just around the corner and I've finally finished these pages for last Easter.  In the scrapbooker's world, that's not too shabby, really!

My supplies for all three kids' pages were ordered from scrapyourtrip.com and they include:
Doodlebug Design papers in Hello Spring Birds of a Feather, Chickadees, Happy Valley and Easter Bunnies
Bella Blvd Spring Things & Easter Things Just Write Journaling Stickers
I also used Recollections alpha stickers from Michael's.
