We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Just Keep Swimming

My sister hit on the idea for this page's title, stolen from one of Bekah's favorite movies, Finding Nemo! Our camping trips are all about swimming for the kids so I chose three favorite water photos of Bekah for her page. My background paper is from a D.C.W.V. Christmas paper stack and, shhhhh, don't tell anyone, but there are actually tiny snowflakes printed on it but you can't really tell and the swirls on it looked watery and nautical so I used it anyway.

I matted the three photos on a strip of blue cardstock run across the center of the page. For the center photo, I matted it first on a blue and white striped paper from a D.C.W.V. mat stack. The page title is made from punch out letters by Colorbok (do I make a title any other way lately?) and the stickers are by Me and My Big Ideas. I just love those cute little stick kids! I journaled on a stretch of white cardstock across the bottom of the page and added a few stickers to that for good measure.

Caden's Baseball 2011

Well, there isn't much to this page! I remember that the stripe paper I used for a background came from a DCWV stack, but I can't tell you the brand of the baseball diamond paper or baseball stickers. I used punch out alphas from a Colorbok stack for the title and wrote the year on one of the baseball stickers.

Brothers

I ripped olive and mustard cardstock and layered it on blue cardstock to make a backdrop for four black and white prints of proud big brother Scott. I accented this simple page with just a few cardstock stickers from JoAnn Fabrics (can't remember what brand they were - sorry) I embellished a journaling mat created with more ripped and matted cardstock with two bronze brads and that was all there was to this page.
