We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Thumbsucker

This background paper is from my handy-dandy Christmas stack by D.C.W.V. My photo is doctored at picnic.com with the "weave" effect. I printed it in 5x7 and 4x6, tearing the smaller print before layering it over the larger one. I was very happy with the look of this page so my only other addition was to "hang" the photo from a brad with some tea-dyed cotton cording. You can't really tell in the scanned copy, but the background paper has a similar texture-print to that of the photo.
My original idea for Alarik's "Thumbsucker" page was something cutesy with a fair amount of journaling (he's our only thumbsucker out of three kids so it's been fun to watch how he uses it). But once I started putting the page together, this photo stood out so much that I ditched the others I had planned to use and ended up with this simple but striking single-page spread.
