We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Gavin's Halloween 2010

I forgot to write down before I scrapped what brand these cool Halloween papers are:( I ran a strip of the purple bat paper across the bottom of my page and used it to place some photos matted in green on. I used the same green for my other photos, double matting my favorite photo using black also. I used the same green yet again to make mats for my title letters which are from a "Colorbok" alpha punch-out stack. I used decorative edge scissors to add some detail to my title.

Quick Photo Project

I'm back to work now and needed a picture of the new baby for my desk. Rather than just bringing in a plain framed photo, I whipped up this cute project to frame. The background paper is by Karen Foster Designs and the "Oh Baby" sticker is by Me & My Big Ideas.

Mother's Day 2010

Everything I used on this spread came from a paper stack by "atd". I started with plain background paper and then cut the tree paper into 10X10 squares and added one to each page. Two photos on the left hand page are matted on a strip of paper with torn edges. The letters and numbers for the title and date are punch outs from the paper stack as are the bears, picnic stuff and journaling tag which I attached with a brad.

Caden's Halloween 2010

I matted this cool die cut glitter paper by " Best Creation Inc" onto a piece of plain black background paper. I matted my various size photos on black paper and hand wrote my title and journaling (if you can consider "roh roh" journaling:) in silver gel pen.

Winter Fun

It was nice to sit in the 80-degree weather and look at these winter pics - made me feel a slight bit cooler!
I chose two matching papers from a Christmas stack by D.C.W.V. for my background. On the left-hand side, I covered up the printed bears with another printed paper from the same stack. I matted my photos on blue cardstock and, because I didn't have enough of either one to spell anything, I used a mixture of metal paper-clip style letters (JoAnn Craft Essentials) and metal letter brads (Forever In Time).

On the right-hand half of the spread, I matted my photos with the same blue and then double-matted with white to make them stand out from the blue background better. The metal snowflake accents on both pages are by Scrapbook Basics. Another Scrapbook Basics metal tag holds my date and I jazzed it up with some blue and white fibers.

Kingergarten Graduation

For Bekah's Kindergarten Graduation page, I used my trusty ol' Colorbok punch-out letters. I used all different colors and layered random ones throughout the title. I matted my only photo on this page on white, then black cardstock, then placed it over a larger piece of star-patterned paper by Paper Boutique Jenny and Jeff Designs.

The school-themed embellishments on both pages are cut from a sheet by Studio Basics 101.
I used the same double-matting on my photos for the right-hand side of the spread and layered them over more of the star-print paper. I use a final piece of the star paper behind my journaling block which was cut from the Studio Basics sheet as well.
