We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Monkey Boy

My son Gavin loves to climb, so I had to do a monkey page for him. I used two sheets of the same monkey paper for the background and a different pattern of monkey paper for a photo mat. I double matted the photo on the left hand page. The brown stripe paper was on the backside of the brown monkey paper. I added a brad in each corner of the mat. At the top I added a strip of plain brown paper for my title which I spelled out using some chipboard letters I got at Michaels. I had printed out two different sizes of each of the photos on the right hand page because I wasn't sure which size I wanted to use on the page. I ended up using them both by tearing the edges of all the smaller photos and matting them with the larger photos. I made a journaling area by double matting more of the same papers and added a monkey that I cut out of the brown monkey paper as an embellishment.
