We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Scott's Snowy Day

Nothing says winter fun like a bright blue background with snowflakes! These background papers are from a Christmas stack by D.C.W.V. I scattered around some metal snowflake brads from my local scrapbooking store. I used yellow vellum as a backdrop for my photos - I kind of wish I had used white or some other color as the yellow looks kind of greenish on the blue background, but oh well. I dressed up the vellum with some snowflake stamps and blue ink. I stamped snowflakes on the corners of one of my photos as well, a first for me!On the other side of my two-page spread, I used a vertical photo slicing technique and matted the pieces on blue cardstock, weaving in more stamped yellow vellum. A couple more metal snowflake brads and a torn journaling mat and I'm all done!
