We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Christmas '08

I scrap-lifted this idea of doing a grid page from a book. I cut strips of paper and ran them horizontally and vertically on the paper to create the grid. I just eyeballed the spacing- I am not one for measuring! For the title block I layered ripped edge papers. I matted the "C" which is a chipboard letter separately and them added the rest of the title. The white letters I cut out using a Friskars shape cutter and templates, and the "s" I just traced onto the page using the same templates. I placed one matted photo and some Santa brads on the left hand page. For the right hand page I placed a photo in each of the grid squares and hand wrote a caption for each. I used another ripped piece of paper and chipboard numbers to add the year to the bottom of the page and spread around some buttons as accents.
