We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Name Banner Project

I made this banner for a baby shower we threw for one of the ladies at work who is having a little girl soon.
I used squares of purple cardstock for the base of each letter. The letters themselves are from a punchout cardstock letter set by Heidi Grace Designs. Each letter tile punched out of a square of patterned cardstock and there was also a punch out scalloped border around the whole thing. I was able to use the borders, letters and negative punch-outs for this banner. I also used a few different shades of pink cardstock for additional layering.
The end and middle of the banner have strings of smaller cardstock squares with baby-themed stampings mounted on them. I strung everything on white ribbon with white eyelets.

Here's a closer-up view of each half of the banner.
