We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

We have to be creative with our winter and snow pages in northern Minnesota because we make so many of them! For the "snow" title I used some chipboard letters and covered them with spackling compound to create the texture effect. I also wrapped blue wire around each letter. One picture I printed in B&W directly onto a piece of vellum and then attached it to the page with a brad in each corner. The other picture on the left hand page I matted on two pieces of vellum- one clear and one blue. I made a journaling area with a torn piece of paper layered over a torn piece of vellum and again attached it to the page using brads. The bottom "winter" title I made from a torn paper strip, a vellum piece, brads, fibers and cut out letters. On the right hand page I placed 5 photos- 2 just matted on the background paper, 2 matted on a strip of paper with the bottoms trimmed with decorative edge scissors and the last one I cut strips from both sides and then attached them to the paper leaving some space between the strips.
