We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Purple Princess

This page shows pictures of Bekah in the princess dress-up clothes she received for Christmas one year. I used two sheets of 12x12 purple plaid paper from a stack by D.C.W.V. for my background. I jazzed it up by adding triangles of purple polka dot paper (from the same stack) to the outside corners and edging those with purple ribbon. I trimmed some of the pictures into ovals and matted all of the pictures onto purple handmade papers. (purple, purple, PURPLE!)
I dangled the metal flower charm (a dollar store find) in the upper-left corner from purple and white ribbon and used more of the same ribbon and a jeweled brad as an embellisment to one of the photo mats on the right-hand half of the spread. The only other embellishment is an "imagine" word tile (another dollar store score).
The title is made from pink (NOT purple!) sparkly self-adhesive letters from Oriental Trading Co. I mounted them on more of the purple polka dot paper to make them stand out more.
