We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Don't fear the mistakes

Here's a page I made for Bekah and I didn't notice until I was scanning it that I spelling "fishing" wrong...oops! I was able to pull up the two misplaced letters and fix it. Tragedy averted. I've made mistakes on other pages too, of course, but between my sister and I we can usually figure out a way to fix it. My favorite and the easiest way to fix a mistake is to cover it with an embellisment. If you see a mistake in your hand-written journaling, you can always re-write it on another piece of paper and paste it over the original journaling.

So here's what the page looks like all fixed up:And here's a similar page I did for Scott of the same fishing trip: For each of these pages I used a single 12x12 sheet of printed paper with an ice-fishing theme. I silhouetted the kids out of a few pictures and then used a pic of our fishing holes that I really liked. I added one strip of paper to put the title on and then hand-wrote my journaling. Easy, squeezy.
