We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Gavin's "Oh, the Places You've Been"

This page is all about places my son Gavin traveled in his first several years. I picked two bright colors for the background and then used scraps to make the stripes- a good way to use up some of those scraps:) I copied a page out of the Dr. Seuss book "Oh, the Places You'll Go" and changed it to "Oh, the Places You've been. I also used paper scraps to label the pictures with the place and date. I finished the pages off with some randomly placed colorful brads.

Caden's 1st Birthday

I started with a very "busy" birthday background paper for this page. I triple matted the picture to make it stand out and not get lost in the background. The blue cardstock makes the background for a sort of journaling area where I used a chipboard 1, metal embellishments, rub-ons and stamps. The title I made using my tag maker. I used some frosting and sprinkles paper (same as I used in the photo mat) to make the tags and then used rub-on letters to spell out Caden's name. I put an eyelet at the top of each tag so that a ribbon could be tied on.
