We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

Scott & Bekah's Halloween - 2008

I have separate scrapbooks for each of my two kids so there are a lot of times when I end up making similar pages for each of them. For the kids' pages from last Halloween, I knew I wanted to include the series of three pictures of the two of them together so I used the right-hand half of each of their pages for those. I used different background papers for each of them and saved the left-hand half of spread for pictures of them alone.

For Scott's page, I simply rounded the corners of the pictures and cut mats for each picture from orange cardstock. The title on Scott's page was part of the background paper I chose and I just now realized that I don't have a date anywhere on the page. Better fix that!
For Bekah's page I used a strip of orange and black patterned paper along the left side of a solid black background. I matted the pictures on white cardstock.
I matted the pictures on the right-hand half of the spread on black cardstock and added a simple title/date with clear epoxy stickers and black marker.
Here's the two pages for comparison:
