We are Steph and Angie - sisters who love to scrapbook. We don't know design, we aren't color experts and we usually only get to scrapbook a few times a year. But, we love our families and scrapbooking our memories with them so here we are!

We'll try not to bog you down with long supply lists and explanations (half the time we can't remember what we used or it's such old stuff that you'd never find it anywhere anyway!)

Please feel free to "scrap-lift" any of our ideas that strike your fancy, and if you are a scrapbooker with your own blog, please link back to us!

A Boy and His Blanket

My youngest son Caden received the ratty blue blanket you see here as a gift when he was born (it wasn't ratty at the time). He is 2 1/2 or three in this page and you can see how loved his "Bluey" is. I found a plaid blue paper perfect for this little boy layout and used some blue ribbon threaded through eyelets as accents. For the "Bluey" titles I used a Friskars shape cutter and letter templates. The letters on the right hand page are the ones that I cut out from the title on the left hand side- waste not! I used decorative edge scissors on the journaling blocks. One journaling block is a Peanuts quote that I printed out on the computer. The "Boy and His Blanket" block I did with letter stickers and the hand written journaling tells the tragic tale of leaving "Bluey" behind when we moved- don't worry Caden has since become attached to another blue blanket he also named "Bluey" (what else?) and we are all surviving just fine:).
